On the way back from Vegas, still has a bit of a poker itch so stopped here to scratch it.
Room is off upstairs in an actual room by itself. Well secluded from the main casino if you don't like noisy/smokey rooms. Not the poshest room, but reasonable given the location and clientele.
Tachi Palace Casino Poker Room
They were running 2-4 limit, not my usual game but I play it once in a while. Their low rake ($1 per $10 to $4) makes it playable, unlike many California rooms where they charge a flat $4 rake. The do run no limit if there is enough interest.
Friendly players, mostly locals out for a good time. Staff was on par or better than most rooms. Floor took the time to explain promos/comps to new players.

Beverages was a bit hit or miss due to the location of the room, but the staff will gladly call a server for you.
Overall, a good experience. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.
